Ryan Patrick Jansen's Obituary
Ryan Patrick Jansen, age 26, passed away on April 2, 2025, in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. He was born on March 7, 1999, to parents John and Susan (Clark) Jansen, in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Ryan moved with his parents and older brother to Oshkosh, Wisconsin where he attended St Francis Cabrini Grade School and Oshkosh North High School, graduating in 2017. Ryan went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated from the Wisconsin School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2021.
Ryan worked as an Assistant Product Manager for Milwaukee Tool in Wauwatosa and more recently as a Product Marketing Manager for Cree Lighting in Racine, Wisconsin. Ryan was very intelligent, extremely driven, and passionate about his work. Ryan’s innovative ideas helped to develop and launch new products which awarded him a patent.
Ryan was kind hearted and compassionate, he was the best son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend anyone could ask for. Ryan was energetic and fun, he enjoyed many activities and spending time with those he loved. Ryan was competitive and loved to golf, using his seasonal golf passes to perfect his swing, spending countless hours on various courses. Ryan also enjoyed downhill skiing in Colorado, fishing in Canada, and many other family trips. Ryan always made every day more adventurous. Ryan was an avid Packers, Brewers, and Badger fan, attending games with family and friends. Ryan will be deeply missed by all of us, but his kindness and love will stay with us forever.
Ryan is survived by his father, John Jansen (Anna Lautenbach) of Oshkosh; mother, Susan Jansen (Jay Klinger) of Oshkosh, WI; brother, Austin Jansen of New York, NY; and grandfather, Paul Jansen Jr. of Oshkosh. He is further survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. Preceding him in death were his grandparents; Joan Jansen of Oshkosh; and Dennis and Kathy Clark of Watertown, WI.
Ryan – Mom, Dad, and Austin were very proud of you, we will always treasure the great memories of your life. We love you.
Visitation will be held at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home in Oshkosh on Saturday, April 19th from 9:00am to 11:00am, with a Service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at a later date.
