Sandra Rose Tadych's Obituary
Our beloved Sandra Rose Tadych, age 74, passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 3, 2017, at Park View Health Center. She was born in Oshkosh, WI, daughter of Rufus and Ann (Lautenschlager) Tadych. Sandra was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Sandra grew up on her parents dairy farm north of Oshkosh where she enjoyed living most of her life. She was a kind and gentle person who had a smile for everyone. In 2000, Sandra gave the ultimate gift by donating her bone marrow to her brother Greg who was battling cancer. Our brother was able to be with us an additional ten years because of her love and sacrifice. She truly was our hero and a blessing in all our lives.
Sandra is survived by her sister, Cheryl (Donald) Knoblauch; nieces and their families: Tami (Michael) Kurtz, Peyton and Carson; Teri (Casey) Schulze, Owen and Addison; Meghann (Isaiah) Tate, Aiden and Ainsley; nephew, Justin (Carrie) Tadych; sister-in-law, Mary Tadych; many special relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.
A service for Sandra will be held at 5 pm on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church, 400 N. Sawyer St., Oshkosh, WI, with Pastor Ritchie Cole officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 4 pm until 5 pm. Interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Park.
Sandra had a love for animals, so in lieu of flowers, memorials to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society would be appreciated.
Sandra's family would like to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to the excellent and compassionate staff at Park View Health Center, Woodside 2. You are a special group of individuals and the respectfulness and kindness shown toward Sandy will be remembered.
