Sarah Ann Sekulich's Obituary
Sarah Sekulich Obituary
Sarah moved on January 26, 2017 at the age of 61. She was born October 19, 1955 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Daniel and Patricia (Neuman) Sekulich. She graduated from Nathan Hale High School. Her career included many years working for Milwaukee County.
Sarah negotiated life with an intelligent wit and abrupt honesty. She safeguarded her independence fiercely and that served her well when dealing with the constraints of paraplegia during the past 12 years.
Her spiritual strength was buoyed by the goodness of the many personal care workers who provided daily support. They were her confidants and her shield. Words are inadequate to express appreciation to her caregivers and to Lakeland, Preferred Health Care, and ResCare along with the countless other professionals, friends and neighbors who touched her life.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister Mary Kennedy and brother Tom Sekulich (Susan Kepplinger); nieces Jill Kennedy-Freiermuth (Bob) and Kate Stuessy (Wayne); great nephews Josh and Ben Freiermuth and Mitch Stuessy and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private services will be held at a later date.
