Sharen M. Hansen's Obituary
Sharen M. Hansen, age 58, has completed her full circle of life and passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Bethel Home. Sharen was born on October 27, 1954 the second of a set of twins born to the late Albert and Rose Lentz. There were eight siblings, Meredith, Henrietta, Phyllis, Dennis, Hubert, William, Michael and Karen (twin). Sharen greatly enjoyed singing, dancing and being a Tom-Boy. She also liked the underdog and stories of Jesus. After graduating from high school in 1973, she had her first child Joshua and tried college. Thru life her failures and successes were noticeable, but she tried. She had many jobs, including her own cleaning business, Sharen's Cleaning. She loved time spent with her husband Robert as she loved horses and horseback riding with him along with following and being an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. In 2009 she returned to the Catholic Faith and went to the University of Phoenix and earned an Associate Degree in Business Management, which she recieved in January of 2012. In 2010 she started her Franciscan training and was currently a Franciscan Member. She was a faithful member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Survivors include and her memory will be cherished by her husband, Robert P. Hansen of Oshkosh; three sons, Joshua Lentz, Michael Parpart and LaVern Parpart III; three step-sons, Christopher, Timothy and Brian Hansen; brothers, Michael, Bill and Dennis Lentz; sisters, Meredith Lewis and Karen (William) Fritz. She is further survived by many grandchildren, other relatives and many very dear friends. She was preceded in death by sisters, Henrietta Masche and Phyllis Chitwood; a brother, Hubert and a stepson, Mark Hansen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Sharen on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St, Mary's Catholic Church, corner of Merritt and Monroe in Oshkosh. The Rev. Fr. James Jugenheimer will celebrate the Mass. A time of visitation and support will be held for the Hansen family at the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. in Oshkosh on Friday evening from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at which time a parish rosary service will be held, followed by family eulogies. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Beaver Dam. A memorial fund will be established.
