Sharon L. Perzentka's Obituary
Sharon Lynn Perzentka, age 81, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. She was born on August 18, 1942, in Breckenridge, TX, the daughter of Francis and Jack McClure Sr. She was the oldest of four siblings. On January 4th, 1959, she married William Howard Perzentka Sr. Sharon and Bill moved to Oshkosh in 1961 to start their family. Sharon was a stay at home mother for several years before taking an income outside the home. She worked hard at various jobs throughout her life until retirement. Outside the family, she enjoyed many areas of interest but took special interest in antiques and collections, books and reading, beloved family dogs, keeping the yard looking cool, the family cabin built from the ground up in the mid 70’s, motorcycling with Bill, and being snowbirds for 20+ years in south Texas.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her mother and father, and her brother Jack Norman McClure Jr.
Sharon is survived by her sons; William Perzentka Jr., Joseph (Oxana) Perzentka, Thomas (Jeff Patt) Perzentka, and her grandchildren; Matthew George, William George, Caitlyn Perzentka, Brandon Perzentka, and Jonique (Aaron) Monte.
The memorial service will be held at the Marine Corps League (4715 Sherman Rd, Oshkosh) on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 11am. The service will be officiated by the local Amvets Chaplin, Mike Hert. Immediately following the service a time of sharing memories and further celebrating her life will be held.
Sharon was a fun loving and adventurous woman with a zest for life and her memory will be cherished by her family and friends.
