Sharon L. Williams' Obituary
Sharon Williams passed away on Thursday August 25, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, with her family by her side.
Sharon was born in Oshkosh on May 1, 1942 to the late Lawrence and Marge Diestler. She married Jim Smith in June of 1960. She enjoyed her career at Park View Health Center, caring for the elderly, for many years. She loved gambling, knitting and crocheting, her cat “Kitty” and spending time with her family. She married Bernie Williams on February 15, 1973.
Sharon is survived by her children; Deb (Mike) Becker of Winneconne; Dan (Beth) of Appleton and Sue Hinz of Oshkosh, brother; Larry (Karen) Diestler of Arizona, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Bernie.
Sharon’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff in the ICU at Aurora Medical center for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
Following Sharon’s wishes, no formal funeral services will be held. A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a later date.
