Shawn Scott Sanders' Obituary
Shawn Scott Sanders was Born on March 2, 1969 in the Panama Canal Zone and died on February 6, 2009 surrounded by loved ones. As a boy he was involved in many sporting activities. He rose to the Rank of Life Scout in the Boy Scouts. Early on he developed a passion for music that only grew throughout his life. He was a talented musician and could play a variety of instruments. As an Army dependent he lived in a number of interesting places with his family including five years in Japan where he enjoyed many cultural experiences. He was currently the co-owner and operator of Lake Fly Screen Graphics. A business he started with his brother seven years ago. He was survived by his parents, Gary and Mary, Paternal Grandparents, Marge and Russ, Maternal Grandfather, Bill Brownlea, Aunts and Uncles; Terri and Greg, John and Cookie, Will, Candace and Eric, Dan and Eileen, Steve and Linda, Jim and Susan. Cousins Eric, Sarah, Chris, Erica, Kirsten, Lori, Jeff, Drew and Jenny. Friends Stacey, Jason, Scott, Mike, Jesse, Brian, Steve, Bill and Paul. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother Kathy Brownlea. Throughout his too short life Shawn fought numerous medical problems and though he lost this final battle he was able to donate organs so that others might benefit. This final act was a very real demonstration of the kind and generous spirit that embodied Shawn. A private gathering will be held to celebrate and honor Shawn.
