Sister M. Angela Krawiec's Obituary
Sister M. Angela Krawiec, 95 years of age, died on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at SSM Franciscan Courts, Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Sister M. Angela, also known as Mary Ann Krawiec, was born in Trenton, N.J. on April 20, 1922, to Jacob and Angela (Ciebiera) Krawiec. Both of her parents were born in Poland. She was one of six children.
Mary Ann entered the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother on October 3, 1984. She professed her religious vows on Oct. 18, 1986, at Our Lady of Sorrows Convent, Denville, New Jersey, and received the name Sister M. Angela.
Sister M. Angela is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Angela Krawiec, four brothers (John, Charles, Joseph, and Ted) and one sister, Ann. She is survived by a niece, Cynthia (John) Kirchner. Homecoming will be at 4:00 p.m. at SSM Franciscan Courts on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at SSM Franciscan Courts with the Rev. Matthew Rappl will be the celebrant. Burial will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Oshkosh, WI.
