Sonja Joy Macho's Obituary
Sonja Joy (Wright) Macho, age 55, of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home. Sonja was born on May 5, 1960 in Rosendale, a daughter of Edmund and June (Joitel) Wright. Upon graduating from Laconia High School in Rosendale, Sony earned her Property and Casualty License and has served at several Insurance Agencies in the Fox Cities as a Property and Casualty Insurance Representative. She married John Macho on April 12, 2003. Sonja was a member of Lord of The Lakes Church in Winneconne.
Sonja was a caring and thoughtful person and brought sunshine to everyone's life who she touched. Her sons stated "I always felt secure when I was by her, and I can tell her my secrets and never be afraid of asking her anything." Her legacy was that she continually challenged us to be giving towards each other. She will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, John Macho; her twin sons, Jacob and Jonah Macho (11); her siblings, Tom (Joan), David (Carol), Greg (Mary Ellen), Steve (Beth), Kevin (Laurel), Janel (Paul) Rumbuc, Julie (Brett) Poquette; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Sony was preceded in death by both her parents and grandparents.
A celebration of Sonja's life will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Lord of The Lakes Church, 6090 Harbour South Dr. in Winneconne with Pastor Kevin Heffernan officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial has been established for Jacob and Jonah Macho, please make checks payable to the Sonja J Mach memorial fund. The fund is held with the Winnebago Community Credit Union in Oshkosh, WI.
