Spc. Ryan R. Schlack's Obituary
Spc. Ryan Richard Schlack, age 30 of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Ft. Hood, TX. On July 12, 1979 he was born in Nuremberg, Germany, the son of Richard and Terri (Hietpas) Schlack. He was a 1998 graduate of Oshkosh West High School. Ryan was in the U.S. Army having served five and a half years. His hobbies included bicycling, playing video games and movies. His memory will be cherished by his parents: Richard and Terri Schlack and one brother: Adam (fiancee: Rebecca Monroe) Schlack all of Oshkosh.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2009 in the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive, with Rev. Carl Knitt officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday in the funeral home.
