Stanley Kindness' Obituary
Stanley A. Kindness, age 92, of Oshkosh, passed away on March 28, 2010. He was born on March 8, 1918, in Fond du Lac, a son of the late John and Margaret (Kantzler) Kindness. Stanley served his country in the US Army Air Corp. and married the former Eleanor A. Heinzl on May 21, 1938 in Oshkosh. Eleanor preceded Stanley in death in 2006. Stanley was a Finish Cabinet Maker by trade and was known for his perfectionism with regard to his work. After retirement in 1976 he and Eleanor lived in the Wautoma area, returning to Oshkosh to a home that he designed in 1996. He greatly enjoyed trout fishing, hunting and spending time with his family outdoors, especially at Spring Lake in Waushara County.
Survivors include four sons, Gary (Erika) of Edmonds, Washington, Brett (Kathryn) of Little Chute, Brian (Debra) of Huntertown, Indiana and Christopher (Kris) of Seattle, Washington; a daughter, Sandra (Thomas) Pawlacyk of Spring Lake, Wisconsin; a sister, Fern Karls of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death also by a son, Deryck.
Per Stanley's wishes there will be no visitation or formal funeral services. A private graveside service with full military honors will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangemets were entrusted to the:
