I have such beautiful memories of working my 37 years career with Dr. Stan. He was such a visionary and truly great to work with. I am so grateful to have been able to work with him as my leader. I agree with Mary Heyer description of Dr. Spanbauer's virtues as educator and an individual. The world of FVTC was truly better from his service. He left a remarkable legacy for his family to cherish.
It was my privilege to have worked for Dr. Spanbauer at FVTC when he was the Administrator of Instructional Services and again as President of the college. He was an inspirational leader and a wonderful, kind man. He shepherded not only the direction of the college, but me as well as I went from a newlywed to a mother of two.

Deepest condolences to all of the Spanbauer family for your loss. Stan was a very nice person & I have many fond memories of all our golf trips together - along with his buddy "the beeze".
Sadly I will not be able to attend his services due to a out-of-town commitment but will keep all in my thoughts and prayers.
