Steven MacAdam's Obituary
Steven Michael MacAdam, age 52, of Oshkosh passed away on Monday evening July 9, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born on December 9, 1959 in Oshkosh the son of Albert "Jack" and Julia (Schaffer) MacAdam. Steven is survived by his mother Julia MacAdam of Oshkosh. One daughter Kristy MacAdam-Samida of Oshkosh and one brother Clarence "Jack" MacAdam of Georgia. Three sisters Julie (Jim) Brooks of Oshkosh, Darlene (Gerry) Barrailler of Colorado, Mary Bruflat (LaVere) of Neillsville, WI and one granddaughter Alyza Parish . He was preceded in death by his father and one brother Richard. He grew up swimming and fishing the waters of Lake Winnebago while living on Hickory Lane. Most of his 52 years were lived fishing, hiking and camping in Wisconsin, Colorado and Oregon. Steve was a musician, singer and songwriter. He was an artist with unique imagination and creative ability. He was a carpenter with the same exacting standards as his dad, Jack. Steve also served his Country in the U.S. Marines. Steve is now safely home with his Lord Jesus Christ, he is surrounded in love and fishing the heavens with his beloved Grandpa, Dad and brother Dick. He is loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. There will be a private memorial service for the family at a later date in the near future.
