Susan I. Crow's Obituary
Susan I. Crow, age 80, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, November 17, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born on March 26, 1942 a daughter of the late Michael and Lucille Halkin. Sue married Charles R. Crow on February 3, 2001. She had worked for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for many years. Sue greatly enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, cooking and baking thru the years. She and Charlie also enjoyed traveling to many different places.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her husband, Charlie of Oshkosh; two sons, Doug Nelsen of Wild Rose and James (Jean) Nelsen of Poynette; two daughters, Deb (Mark) Kasper and Denise (Jeff) Vandermolen, both of Oshkosh; three brothers, Mike Halkin of Sheboygan and Vincent (Kathy) Halkin and Ralph (Sandy) Halkin, both of East Troy; a sister, Pat Kruger of Westfield. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren, Jenny, Jodie, Ben, P.J. Meekael, Adam, Vanessa, Jordan and Dylan; 10 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends and life long friend, Annie Robinson of Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Cliff; a sister, Nancy Rew; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Halkin and a brother-in-law, Neil Kruger.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 11:00 am in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service. The family would like to thank the Aurora Hospic and ICU nurses and staff for the care that Sue received.
