SUSAN WEIGANDT's Obituary
Susan (Hymer) Weigandt age 60, Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends on the afternoon of Tuesday may 7th 2019 at lake shore manor in Oshkosh Wisconsin.
Susan was born April 18th 1959 to Marjorie and John Hymer in Rice Lake Wisconsin.
Graduated from Oshkosh West High school
Susan came from a close knit family and was the 3rd born of 4 children.
As a child Susan loved spending summers at her family cottage in Elcho Wisconsin that she continued to visit every summer up until her recent passing, as it was one of her favorite places to be.
Susan was a loving child with a curious sense of humor, there is a never ending stock pile of stories to be told about Susan’s mischievous childhood.
Susan’s sense of humor followed her into adulthood as she was known for her quirky banter, quick comebacks, and Whitty remarks.
Susan had worked for some time as a certified nursing assistant, she was always happy to help out and share her knowledge with others. Susan later used that knowledge to help care for her ageing mother, whom she had a very close relationship with.
Susan loved going for long walks around the city, to catch up with old friends or make new ones. Even in her final days when asked what Susan likes to do for fun, she said “socializing”.
On March 30th 2001 Susan married the love of her life Dennis “Wege” Weigandt.
Susan and Dennis enjoyed traveling all over the United States together, that is the time when Susan began the hobby of collecting “ugly Trolls” which remained on display in her bedroom.
Susan often would joke about her marriage but always remained faithful and very serious when she would say that she believed that there is, was, and never will be a man better than Dennis and he was made especially for her.
Although Susan didn’t have any children of her own, she certainly had a close bond with all of her 10 nieces and nephews.
One of which she felt extremely blessed to share the same birthday with and would often refer to her as her “birthday baby”.
Susan’s loving heart, contagious smile and quirky banter will be missed by those who were close to her. Susan’s memory will remain in the simple things that we see every day all around us.
Susan was preceded in death by her late husband Dennis Weigandt her father John Hymer, Maternal grandparents, Paternal grandparents as well as her great nephew Camdon Baker.

Susan is also survived by her great Nieces and nephews Hazel, Claire, Kyle, and Reagan
