Ted Brooks' Obituary
Louden T. "Ted" Brooks, age 84, of Oshkosh, passed away after complications of
an aneurysm at Aurora Medical Center on Thursday afternoon December 14, 2017.
He was born on February 4, 1933 in Berlin, Wisconsin a son of the late Theodore
and Madeline (Blank) Brooks. He served his country in the US Army and married
the former Joann Margaret Fassbender on September 15, 1955 in Blacke Creek. Ted
had worked most of his life in the financial community. He greatly enjoyed
bowling, NASCAR, football, all sports. He especially enjoyed gardening and will
be remembered for raising and receiving national awards raising rabbits. He
will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his wife, Joann of 61
years of Oshkosh; three daughters, Randie (Jack) Zellmer and Tari Brooks, both
of Oshkosh, and Lori (Darryl) Bizub of Wautoma. He is further survived by two
brothers and a sister and several brothers and sisters in law who were very
close to him along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and special neighbors
who he could always count on.
Per Ted's wishes there will be no formal funeral services. The family wishes to
thank Dr. Reynolds and the ER and ICU staff at Aurora Medical Center for the
kind, compassionate care that was extended to Ted and his family.
