Terry was a great boss when I worked at Kwik Trip over 30 years ago. I am just in shock to see his obituary. I remember coming to your house off of 9th and of course where you live now. We always used to say Mr & Mrs.Terry , i'm sure as many always did. Teri and family your dad was such a amazing man. I know I didn't need to tell you because you already know. His loss is a big loss to the a community and everybody that knew him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Terry was thoughtful, kind, warm and generous. Generous with his time, and his praise. The one thing that made me a better manager, and a better person around, was that every time Terry stopped at your store. His last question was always the same, “What can I do for you? What do you need?” it was always about the people, his people. I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep a place in my heart and in my thoughts for you.

Terry was always a bright spot in the day when he “stopped by”. Those times weren’t always about business. He was genuinely interested in how you were and what you needed.

Terry was a great boss that I always looked up to. He was always there for his Kwik Trip family and treated us so good. I always looked forward to seeing his smile when he came to visit the stores and he had the best hugs. My heart goes out to Terry's family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Terry was not only a great leader he was a great advisor too! He always asked me questions that led me to the right decision. He loved his family I remember when his granddaughter came to Palmer college in Davenport he asked if he could give her my number so she would have someone close to call if she needed anything. I told him sure. He was looking out for his family whether it was home family or Kwik Trip family. Will miss you Terry and you and your family will be in my prayers! I know you will still be watching over them.
