Theresa Holdren's Obituary
Theresa A. Holdren, age 85, of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday July 27, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born in Omro, WI., on October 9, 1927 the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Fehr Scherer Macho. Theresa married Louis (Bud) Holdren in 1949, he preceded her in death in 1997. Throughout her life Theresa worked in several different factories, and was employed at Holiday Inn when she retired. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (St Peter Worship Site). Theresa was an avid reader, loved to collect Angels, knit, and going out to dinner with family and friends.
Survivors include one sister; Mary Jane (Henry) Daubert, of Oshkosh, one step-son, Richard (Julie) Holdren, Oshkosh, and one step-grandson. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; Charles, Edward, George Macho, one step-son William Holdren, two half brothers; Joseph, Harry Sherer, two half sisters; Ann Zimmerman, and Emmerence Rilling Rauch.
A Graveside service for Theresa will be held in Lake View Memorial Park on Wednesday July 31, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jim Jugenheimer officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to The Oshkosh Area Humane Society in her name.
