Theresa Lemberger's Obituary
Theresa M. Lemberger, age 84 of Oshkosh, passed away Friday evening, March 6, 2009 in the Bethel Home, Oshkosh. On August 22, 1924 she was born in Oshkosh the daughter of Stanley and Catherine (Kazmierszak) Klapa. Theresa worked for American Excelsior and she owned and operated the Wildlife Nurseries with her husband. A member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (St. Vincent site), she also was a member of the Christian Mothers Society. She also loved to say the rosary. On April 29, 1950 she married John J. Lemberger in St. Josephat's Catholic Church. He survives along with two sons: John (Mary Beth) Lemberger and Jim (Sue) Lemberger; four grandchildren: Leah, Lauren, Anna and John T. Lemberger and her brother: Sylvester Klapa and a sister: Pearl DeBehnke. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Edward and Louis Klapa, Selma Omness, Ann Steinert, Viane Mugerauer, Rose Griedl and Florence Buchholz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (St. Vincent Site), with Rev. Fr. Thomas Reynebeau as celebrant. Burial will be on Calvary Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the church. A memorial has been established.
