Thomas Neta's Obituary
Thomas Edward Neta, age71, of Oshkosh, passed away Thursday september 13, 2012 at his home. He was born on March 19, 1941 at Mercy Medical Center to Edward Frank and Frances Anna (Nuemueller) Neta. Tom graduated from St. Mary grade school in 1956 and Oshkosh High School in 1959, after which he received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from UW-Madison in 1963 and an MBA degree from the University of Houston in 1972.
Tom's career with Monsanto Company spanned nearly thirty years and included assignments in Sauget, IL., Alvin TX., Brussels, Belguim., and St. Louis, MO. After retiring, Tom returned to Oshkosh in 1996. During his years in Oshkosh, Tom was a member of St. Mary Parish, St. Josaphat Parish, and presently of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish.
Tom was prededed in death by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Tom will be celebrated on Saturday September 15, at 11:00AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Peter's worship site with the Rev. James Jugenheimer officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00AM until the hour of services. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
