Travis Michael Salzer's Obituary
Travis Michael Salzer, age 23, of Winneconne, died as the result of a drug overdose, on November 1, 2015. He was born on January 26, 1992 in Neenah, a son of Steven and Karen (Daubert) Salzer. He attended Winneconne High School and greatly enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting, working on cars, dirt biking and time spent with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his parents, Steve and Karen Salzer of Winneconne; a sister, Nicole Salzer of Winneconne; his maternal grandmother, Carol Daubert of Oshkosh; paternal grandparents, John and Nancy Salzer; aunts and uncles, Lynne (Mark Wesenberg) Daubert, John Salzer Jr., Bruce (Pam) Salzer, Karen (Mike) Davis. He is further survived by many other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, DuWayne Daubert; an aunt, Gail Daubert.
Funeral services for Travis will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. in Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
