Tuesday Y. Cummins' Obituary
Tuesday Y Cummins, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center after a 6 month battle with lung cancer. She was born on November 2nd, 1961, to Junie "Ray" and Robbie (Atkinson) Hembree in East Chicago, IN. Tuesday grew up in Long Beach, CA, along with her sister, Terra. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1980.
Tuesday met her husband, Rob, in January of 1985. They were married 6 months later in Las Vegas. She and her husband spent 38 wonderful years together. While living in CA, Tuesday gave birth to their first son, Robert Jr. (34) and later their daughter, Crystal (32). The family later relocated to Milwaukee, WI. While there, Tuesday gave birth to their 2nd son Jake (29), and they soon moved to Oshkosh, WI.
While her children were young, Tuesday was a stay-at-home mom and worked at various restaurants as a waitress. When her kids were older, she then started working at Park View Health Center in the kitchen in 2007, and spent the last 15 plus years working there. Tuesday loved her time with her coworkers and made some amazing friendships along the way.
An avid animal lover, Tuesday cared for many dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and exotic animals in her lifetime. She is greatly missed by her 2 dogs, Brownie and Chiclet. In her free time, she enjoyed many motorcycle trips with her husband, casinos, and spending time with her kids. Tuesday's three children were the absolute light of her life.
Tuesday is survived by her husband, Rob Sr. and her children, Rob Jr., Crystal, and Jake. She is further survived by her sister, Terra (Chris), brother-in-law Joe (Janis), brother-in-law Burt, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Robbie, and her mother-in-law, Mary.
We would like to thank the staff at Aurora Medical Center for the wonderful care she received. The family will be holding a private celebration of life for Tuesday.
