Urban Blank's Obituary
Urban John Blank, age 84, of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday morning August 6, 2013 at Bella Vista in Oshkosh. He was born in Oshkosh on July 31, 1929 the son of Urban and Frieda (Kroenke) Blank. Urban served his Country in the U.S. Air Force. He married Elaine Rose Korsch on September 15, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Urban was a Met Life agent for many years, he then worked at Putzers Menswear as the sales manager. Urban is survived by his son: Brian (Diane) Blank of Phelps, WI and one daughter: Betsy Lamb of St. Petersburg, FL. Four grandchildren: Kayla Lamb, Jenna Lamb, Chris Blank and Meagan Blank. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elaine on May 9, 2012, one brother Robert and one sister Marlene Tellock. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 9, 2013 at 11am at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home @ 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Father William Van De Kreeke will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10am until the time of service. Private committal services will be held. Urban's family would like to thank the entire staff at Bella Vista for all the care and compassion. In Lieu of flowers memorials should be directed to the American Diabetes Association @ 1701 N. Beauregard St. Alexandria, VA 22311.
