VIOLET FASHINGBAUER's Obituary
Violet “Vi” Fashingbauer, age 86, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2018 at Bethel Home. She was born in Oshkosh on December 11, 1931 the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Hattie Fashingbauer. On April 28, 1951 Vi married the love of her life Erwin A. Fashingbauer. He preceded her in death in 2014. to gether they had one daughter; Linda C. Loughlin who passed away in earlier this year. She will be remembered for her love of purple, the big heart she had for her family, and how she loved to “chum” with everyone.
Vi is survived by one sister; Faye Schmirler, son-in-law; Jeff Loughlin, two grandchildren; Chrissy (Tim Ryckman) Schroeder, Ken (Tracy) Schroeder, two step-grandchildren; Wendy (Paul Schmidt) Loughlin, Rebecca (Wally Leininger 4th) three great-grandchildren; Kyle (Jenna) Schroeder,Kelsey Samida, Alexandra Schroeder, three great-great grandchildren; Harper, Griffyn Schroeder, and Annakah Messing. she is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Erwin, daughter; Linda, and one step-grandson Michael Loughlin.
Family and friends may call at the Chapel at Lake View Memorial Park on Thursday February 15, from 11:00 Am until 1:00 PM. No formal funeral ceremony will be held.
