Walter Fritz's Obituary
Walter S. Fritz, age 83, of Oshkosh, died Friday February !, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on March 31, 1929 the son of the late Walter and Helen Frank Fritz. Walter married Joyce Heise in Oshkosh on March 21, 1953. She preceded him in death on September 8, 2010. He served his country in the U.S. Army. In his professional carreer he was employed as a painter for Wisconsin Sign Service in Oshkosh. Walter was an avid Packer and Badger fan, an E.A.A. member and was also known as the go to guy at the local marina's if anybobys boat transom needed a name or artwork applied. His true passion was building and painting model planes from the Wright brothers to current day.
Survivors include one son, Thomas (Kelly) Fritz, Elkhorn, WI., two granddaughters, Shahnnon, Heather, and three special nephews, John, Jim, and Jeff Beck.
Walter's family wishes to thank all the staff at Aurora, and a special thank you to the staff at 2nd floor west.
In keeping with Walter's wishes no formal funeral services will be held.
