While there Willie volunteered as a fire fighter, first responder, and did security work for ILE. He was a member of the Amvets and a life long member of St Johns Catholic Church. Willie enjoyed traveling, golf, a good game of poker, and breakfast with his buddies. Willie will be missed by everyone who knew him. He touched our hearts and really made us laugh! He enjoyed life and took us all along for the ride. Thanks Willie! And Willie, Stan's got your keys! A very special mention to our friend Bonnie. Your help with Willie was immeasurable. The loving care and compassion you gave him these last few years made his life richer. You always made him smile Bonnie! And to Samii (Savannah), your unselfishness and concern for Gramps made you his Golden Girl and we're sure he's missing your pancakes. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Willie's name. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 11:00 am at St. Jude Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Rev. William Vande Kreeke officiating.
