William L. Borski's Obituary
William L. Borski, age 88, of Oshkosh, died peacefully in his home Wednesday June 24th, 2020 in his sleep. He was born in Oshkosh on August 30th, 1931, the son of the late Margaret and Leo Borski.
William Borski married Marilyn Nichols in Oshkosh on September 20, 1952. Until the time of his retirement, William was employed as a woodworker by The Paine Lumber Company. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, and loved spending time conversing with family and friends. He also enjoyed a wide range of hobbies including carpentry, gardening, and of course, fishing.
William Borski and his deceased wife Marilyn, also of Oshkosh, are survived by one daughter Nancy Fickas who lives in Cincinnati, OH with husband Ken, as well as two grandsons from the Cincinnati, OH area, Andrew and Chris Fickas. Chris is married to Katie Fickas. William has one surviving brother, Edward. He also has a sister-in-law Barbara Nichols, and brother-in-law, Gary Nichols, both of Orange, CA. William is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Memorial Mass for William will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 at 12:00 PM in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Long officiating. Family and friends may convene for visitation preceding the Mass at the church from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in William’s name may be donated to St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, 816 West Winneconne Ave, Neenah, Wisconsin 54956 https://stefoundation.affinityhealth.org
