William Clifford Brown's Obituary
William Clifford Brown, age 83, of Oshkosh passed away on Thursday afternoon January 6, 2022 at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh. William was born in Ewen, MI on May 28, 1938 the son of Clifford and Angie (Spargo) Brown. After graduating Watersmeet High School he joined the United States Marines. On November 20, 1970 he married Patricia Mary Douglas. Bill was employed for many years at Snap On Tools in Kenosha, WI, then employed at the family business, Apex Machine Products. Bill retired from Ripon Foods in 1999, he then worked part time for EAA and also volunteered at Mercy Medical Center.
William is survived by his wife Patricia M. Brown. One daughter, Diane Blechl and one son, Peter R. Ploskee. Grandson, Alexander (Allison) Blechl and granddaughter, Emily (Nathan) Konrad, grandson, Joshua Waupoose, granddaughters, Abby Ploskee and Marilyn (Erik) Carey and great grandson, Clayton Blechl. Siblings, Gordon and James Brown. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
William was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Debra Kozuch, sister, Doris Barringer, one son, Robert Ploskee and son-in-law, Randy Blechl.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11 am at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Father Tom Long will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 am until the time of service. Due to COVID the family has asked that wearing masks is preferred.
