William R. "Rich" Goff's Obituary
William R. "Rich" Goff, age 83 of Oshkosh, passed away Monday evening, March 16, 2009 in the Bethel Home in Oshkosh. On October 11, 1925, Rich was born in Great Falls, MT, the son of John Louis and Beatrice (Bell) Goff, Sr. Before moving to Oshkosh in April, 1987 he was a farmer in Montana. While in Oshkosh, he retired from the Bemis Company after working there for 15 years. While in Montana, he belonged to a Methodist Church and the veterans organizations. In Oshkosh he was a member of the EAA. During World War II, he served with the Army Air Corp. His hobbies were airplanes and woodworking. On Januaryh 23, 1985 he married Norma Jean Taylor in Elko, NV. She survives along with his sons: Steven (Lisa) Goff and David (Shelly) Goff; his daughter: Gerilyn; his step-son: Dan (Debra) Kennaday; his mother-in-law: Helen Taylor; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His parents and a brother: John Louis Goff, Jr., preceded him in death.
