William B. Siegrist's Obituary
William B. Siegrist, age 55, of Oshkosh passed away on Monday afternoon April 4, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Iowa on December 15, 1960 the son of Ernest and Margery Siegrist. He married Becky Domer in Oshkosh on June 22, 1985. Bill graduated from Preble High School in Green Bay in 1979. Bill was a Police Officer for the city of Oshkosh, in 1985 he moved to Orange County California and was employed as a Sherriff's Deputy from 1985 to 1998. Bill received the Metal of Valor when he was a Deputy with Orange County. Bill retired as a Sergeant with the department in California. He was a dedicated father and never missed any of his sons sporting events. He was a avid Green Bay Packers fan. Bill is survived by his wife; Becky of Oshkosh. One son; Mike of Oshkosh. One brother; Tom (Irina) Siegrist of Margate, FL and one sister; Gail (Vincent) Otis of Rosamond, CA. One aunt; Gail Underwood of Green Bay. One uncle; Robert (Florence) Bunnett of California. Nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; Margery and his uncle; John Underwood. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1 pm at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at 2450 W. 9th Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Rev. Greg Koepsell will officiate. Visitation will held held at the church on Saturday from 11 am until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Bill's name.
