Winona Vera Zeller's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Winona Vera Zeller, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend, who left us far too soon at the age of 13. Winona passed away on December 19,2024 leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
A vibrant spirit, Winona was known for her insatiable curiosity, boundless kindness, and unique sense of humor that would light up any room. Whether exploring the great outdoors or shopping for the latest trends, she approached life with a joyful enthusiasm that was truly infectious. Her love for nature and animals was matched only by her dedication to the people she cared about. She had a rare gift of making everyone around her feel seen and valued.
Winona was a friend to everyone, and her loyalty and warmth will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and the unforgettable impression she made on everyone she met.
Winona is survived by her parents, Robert Zeller and Emily Stanislawczyk, her brother Sullivan, her devoted pets Jojo and Bruce, great grandparents, Diane Ranker, Millie and Eugene Borchardt, Dorothy Brown, grandparents Stacey Ranker, Kelly and Maurice McClendon, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins,and countless friends whose lives she touched in meaningful ways.
A celebration of her life will be held on December 27th at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Visitation will be held from 11:00am - 3:00pm followed by a service where we will come together to honor her memory and the joy she brought into our lives.
Our families thank Dr. Nate and Dr. Brenner from the Oncology Department at Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee for their compassion and care given to Winona and our families.
Rest in peace, Winona. You were and always will be a bright light. You will never be forgotten.
