Yvette Collins' Obituary
Yvette Collins, 88, of Oshkosh passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Bella Vista. She was born November 5, 1926, in Mons, Belgium, the daughter of the late Francois and Jeanne (Dieu) Baumans. She married Alois J. Collins on March 23, 1946 in Belgium.
She and her husband were owner/operators of Collins Truck Service in Oshkosh for many years. She was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church and a founding member of the Alliance Francaise. She is survived by her children, Carol (Thomas) Conlin of Brown Deer, Nadine (Richard) Gade of Appleton, Claude (Susan) Collins, and Mark (Lisa) Collins both of Oshkosh. Nine grandchildren, Christine, Robert, Kathleen, Andrew, Sean, Erik, Cory, Elizabeth, Erin and five great grandchildren, special friend Arnaud, a brother Gaston (Huguette) Baumans , sister in law Elise of Mons, Belgium, sister in law Grace of Madison, friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Alois, her parents, two brothers, Jean and George, and two sisters Renee and Yolande.
The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 13, 2015, at 11:00 am at St. Jude the Apostle Parish-St. Vincent Site, the Rev. William Van de Kreeke officiating. Family and friends may call at the Church Saturday, from 9:00 am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations to charities in her name would be appreciated
