Yvonne Ruechel's Obituary
Yvonne F. Ruechel, age 77, of Oshkosh passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon June 10, 2015 at Theda Clark. She was born in Oshkosh on June 17, 1937 the daughter of John and Rose (Ratchman) Mueller. She married Wayne Ruechel on October 5, 1957. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Oshkosh High School. She was employed at Paine Lumber and Koch Sales. Her hobbies were crafting of all kinds, especially her knitted and crocheted gifts from mittens to afghans. She was well known for selling her craft towels and jewelry at Lourdes Academy every November. She loved her card club and was a fun opponent at cribbage with her sisters, nephew and niece. She was an avid reader and grew the most beautiful roses. She will be remembered for her loving and giving personality always remembering birthdays and holidays, making each person feel very special. Yvonne is survived by her husband; Wayne Ruechel of Oshkosh. One son; Mark (Jennifer) Ruechel and one daughter; Debra (David) Fields all of Oshkosh. Two sisters; Loretta Gahr and Sandra Vienola both of Oshkosh. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters; Rose, Leone, Delores, Ruth and Helen. One brother; Eirl. Memorial services will be held on Monday June 15, 2015 at 12 noon at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home. Rev. John Worzala Dumke will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10 am until the time of service. Private committal services will be held.
