Dear George, Julie, and all of the Zinth Family,
Please accept our condolences at this sad time in your lives. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,
The Dolan Family
You have our deepest sympathy. What a wonderful accomplishment to live to 100+.How proud you must be that he could live in his own home. God Bless.
Carlton was a wonderful, gentle man.
He was a great example in his Christian/Catholic practice.
His legacy is carried on in his kids, and grandkids.
He and Verna did a wonderful job in raising bright, funny, and reverent children.
I visited Carlton on his 100th birthday.
He was dressed in a white, crisp shirp and dress slacks, and he told me he had already said his 10 "hail mary's" for the day as part of the church adoration, and was waiting for his kids to take hime out to lunch.
He was very happy, and radiant.
You could see he was blessed by God.
He had also told me "i think i had my first communion at St. Mary's Church in 1914."
Wow! and pretty good memory for 100.
Didn't realize he was in the softball hall of fame.
even cooler, even tho he's already an icon in my book.
i'll have to find out more about that segment of his life.
Your dad passed immediately into heaven and was greeted by Verna.and his God.
Of this , i am sure.
So George and Julie, Jim and Sue, and the other kids and family,
my sympathies.
You are to be commended for your help in keeping your father in his home for his long life.
I'm sure he was very grateful.
My brother Mike, and his wife Linda are out of town but wanted to make sure I expressed their sadness at hearing about your Dad.
As he passes away he is the oldest member of Most Blessed Sacrament/St. Mary's parish.
God Bless him, and his family, and may he rest in peace.
He will live in Heaven and in our hearts.
