We would like to extend our most sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to Grandma Berger and the Berger family for the loss of Grandpa Berger.
I have many fond memories of Grandpa from going out to the farm, spending time at Berger Sausage, and going swimming in the pool that he so generously put in and maintained for everyone to use. His energy, commitment and dedication at Berger Sausage were reflected in the perfect quality of the meats and sausages, and I don't think we will ever find Bratwurst that will taste near as good as the family recipe!
Grandpa helped guide me in the right direction many times in my life, and taught me how to swim in his pool. He made sure that I was never afraid to try new types of meats and vegetables, and to appreciate fresh produce and gardening, and traits that I still hold to this day. I also miss the Sunday dinners when family all got together as well as the annual visit every Christmas Eve. I am grateful to have known him and will cherish all of my childhood memories with him. He will be missed dearly.
