I was lucky enough to spend a little time with Don when I started at Oshkosh. He always had a kind word and smile whenever I saw him. In all my time at Oshkosh (nearly 20 years), I have NEVER met anyone who didn't smile when they remembered him. His family obviously knows what great guy he was, but I wanted to let you know that a WHOLE LOT of us also know it. I am very sorry for your loss.
Sandy and family, Marilyn and I just found out about Don. We are so sorry to hear about his passing. We offer our sincere and heart felt condolences. He was a great guy. I truly enjoyed working with him at Oshkosh and valued his knowledge and wise counsel. He was very smart guy but super easy to work with. Sandy and family, Pam and I are so sorry for the loss of Don and we send our sincere sympathy. He was a great friend even before we were in school. I remember the time he ran away from kindergarten and walked home some three miles. He was tired of school and he was going home. That says a lot about his personality that didn’t change much through the years. He was a friend that stuck closer than a brother. Don will be missed, Rest In Peace.

Sending prayers and deepest condolences to Don's wife and family. I will never forget when I made a business call orchestrated thru Don at Osh Kosh. Don went out of his way to help and show us the factory. After a meal the evening before, Don had me come to his house and a very pleasant evening. Will miss seeing him at future class reunions.
