"It was on June 24th, 1939 that I came into being. This is also the feast of St John the Baptist. As I was grown from infantry I discovered my sister Rose Ann who was 1 year older and became my good friend in my life. When I was 4 years old, I received a brother, Clement.
My parents were from Pulaski so we visited our parents families there a lot. My Grandmother was also my Godmother which she relished and gave me the best attention always.
Our town where we lived was Cecil, it was a very small (356) population village as we didn’t have a lot of variety. We did have 3 churches and one was a Catholic Church which did have mass on Sunday’s & holy days. For religion classes, 2 Catholic Sisters (nuns) would come to Cecil and hold Catechism in the mornings and prepared us for First Communion, so my sister & I made our 1st Communion together and of course my parents helped prepare us at home.
Then, as my grandparents were concerned about not having much religion outside of the family, my one Grandmother had each of us kids live with her and Grandpa during our eighth grade year and go to the Catholic School “St Mary’s” in Pulaski, so we did.
In 8th grade, they did have confirmation during the year I was there so I got confirmed and took the name ‘Mary’. I chose Mary because that was my Grandmother’s name. I also did have my other Grandmother named Helen from my Baptism.
By the way my name is Elizabeth Helen Mary Borowski.
Living in Pulaski, a lot of the people there only spoke Polish and their families came from Poland.
Highschool was Bonduel High. We rode the bus daily to & fro. Then, Mpls to airline school for ticket agent.
My parents missed me so much I got a job in Shawano Bank which I stayed in Banking wherever I worked.
Met Jim and got married – lived in Menominee Falls and eventually Oshkosh. Had David and many miscarriages and 2 ectopic pregnancies. The we adopted our Anne Marie and now we had 2 children. So out family was complete – here we are."
I am so glad you were my mom!! I will treasure every memory and moment I had with you ❤️ love you very much!! All my love, Mom💓 Anne
My grandma and I were really close. She taught me to sew and quilt, she would read us books, she was a wonderful grandma. She always took me to confession. She always believed in me, told me to always move forward ask for forgiveness and to forgive and be at peace.

One of the most quiet and sweetest person we had the pleasure of knowing for 48 years. Jim, David, Ann and family our sincere sympathies with your loss.
