John and I spent many hours together at the wood carving classes. He and brother Jim always ventured into new aspects of carving made, my head shake at their progress and achievements. Thank you Patty and families for doing this. John will continue to give us good memories hence forth. -Gene
John was a great friend both professionally and personally, his wisdom, creativity, talents and sense of humor was much appreciated. He will be missed. My current health situation prevented me from attending the funeral.
I’ve lost a great cousin and friend , we shared passages from the Bible every day for the 4 years and came back to see him various times. Our family used to be close early years, our family moved to California in 1968 and lost contact. We so glad to unite with him. I will miss him. Thank you Patti for being there and am glad we were connected again. Love you all.
Mr. Goheen was an awesome dad! Patty was my best friend in high school and we are still very close. I got to spend some time with them the past few summers. He will be missed.
I remember, as a small child , visiting Uncle Pat, Aunt Leone, John and Jim. After supper at some point, I would be put to bed in a bedroom.next to the living room to go to sleep. But, I couldn't sleep. I loved listening to all the talk and laughter from the living room. So much laughter,joy and love. John carried that with him throughout his life.
