Sending prayers, with sorrow to all family members and friends of Kirk. Our neighborhood wasn't huge and, growing up, Kirk made a very big impression on us younger kids with his stories about his experiences of the reality of war. For a short time, he lived in an apartment that had an adjoining door to mine where I lived with his younger brother, Mike. It was there that I was mature enough to really appreciate Kirk as a kind friend. And every time we would pass each-other on the street, I would look in my rear-view mirror, only to see his arm waving from outside his window. --Priceless! RIP Kirk. I know that you are in a safe place.
