Kirk L GRIESE's Obituary
Kirk L. Griese, age 69, of Beaver Dam, formerly of Oshkosh, died on February 19, 2021 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison. Kirk was born to the late Robert and Mary Raykovich Griese in Oshkosh on March 13, 1951.
Kirk grew up on Knapp Street in Oshkosh with his 5 siblings. He proudly served his country in Vietnam with The United States Marine Corps and had a career as a union tradesman, before retiring in Beaver Dam. Kirk enjoyed many years of fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles around Wisconsin and frequently visited his son in the Seattle area and friends in Florida and Arkansas.
Kirk is survived by one son; Matthew (Sarah) Griese, of Duvall WA., two brothers; Mark (Patti), Mike (Johna), one sister; Marilou (Ty), of Oshkosh, longtime companion; Sandra Worthen of Beaver Dam and former spouse; Cynthia Elmer of Oshkosh. Kirk is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and way too many friends to mention that may fondly remember him as “Goombah”. Kirk was predeceased by his brother Robert “Bob” and sister Christina “Tina”.
In keeping with his wishes, a small celebration will take place with close friends and family.
