Carole, for about 33 years we have been blessed to call you and Larry friends. We have shared fears, tears, disappointments, family, joy, hilarious situations, love and faith. It was faith that brought us together and faith that will bring us together again. Until that time, be fully at peace "Uncle Lar" and give those heavenly golf courses your best shot!

I am thankful for all the wonderful memories I have of trips with my family.

You and I had a lot of great times fishing and vacationing together gunny, for guy who couldn't swim you trusted me with your life in my little boat on Lake superior several times. Twice we almost met our maker out there before we both looked at each other while having coffee at Mr. Donut in Marquette Mich. And said we are never going out there again!
You were as good a father in law as there probably ever has been. You were always very good to my little girls.
Shelly will miss you the most of anybody in this world and I know she is crushed right now, you don't need to worry as I will keep watching over all of the girls for you.

It was always a pleasure to work and talk with Larry as fellow volunteers at the Military Veterans Museum. He was a kind and caring gentleman who will be sorely missed. I often learned not just from his words of wisdom, but from his actions. Our lives are richer for having known Larry. God Bless Gunny!

I have so many memories of my grandpa it's hard to pick one specifically. I can't remember one bad memory my entire life. As a kid our long car rides to Minnesota and seeing his family was so much fun.
As an adult, Playing cards on our Sunday get togethers (his favorite , up and down the river) were some of the best times in my life. I can't describe to you how much I admire him and how much he will be missed.
