My Uncle Philip was a very interesting man, unfortunately after him and Aunt Liz moved away from Murphysboro we didn't see much of each other. I remember when he was bit by a snake in the woods behind his farm house, all turned out well! I loved going to the farmhouse. I was and am still so proud of his military success. Thank you for your service! Thank goodness his sister, Patricia Wadley (Florio) niece and nephew got the chance 2 years ago to see him. It was a wonderful trip and will be a cherished memory!! He lived a very long fulfilling life. He will be greatly missed!!
