I would spot Ray sitting in dining room n I would say "Raymond Drexler". He would immediately respond "Yes Ma'am". I would walk with him to an activity n he would worry if there was a chair for me to sit in. Such a polite and respectful man. The girls and I always commented on how he must of been a great Husband. Always thinking of others. We loved having him at Sharehaven. He made us smile with his unique sense of humor. I recall a time I was doing the dishes n it was quiet so I decided to play some music. Next thing I know Ray was just singing along to music. I looked at him n remember feeling such joy in my heart. Knowing that in his old age....he still recognized n enjoyed singing. He will b missed.
