Stephanie E. Walter's Obituary
Stephanie E. Walter (nee Schultz), 81, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020. She was the only child of Harry and Marjorie Schultz who preceded her in death.
She was a beautician by trade. After school, she vacationed in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and took up residence there. Upon returning to Wisconsin some years later, she became a field inspector of cosmetology for the State of Wisconsin, and worked at beauty salons in Oshkosh for many years. A fancier of purebred dogs her entire life, she bred and showed Siberian Huskies. Later, she became involved with Gordon Setters under the Heatherhill kennel name. She bred and owned many champion Gordon Setters including dogs with national rankings. Her interest in purered dogs continued throughout her life and she currently owns a young up and coming dog. Another consuming interest in Stephanie's life was her art. She studied on her own and became very well versed in many different mediums.
Stephanie lived at her family homestead on Lake Butte des Morts most of her life and loved the serenity of the lake. She kept in touch with many childhood "Oakwood" friends and will be dearly missed by all. A memorial service will be held at a later date yet to be determined.
