I directed Dick in a production of "Over the River and Through the Woods" for Attic Theatre. He was a wonderful actor and kind, funny soul. What a legacy he has left. Final bows Mr Furniss. Bravo! Standing ovation.

My deepest condolences to Dick's family. What a great guy. I had the privilege of performing with Dick in a number of shows, such as "The Odd Couple", "On Golden Pond" and "Run for Your Wife". He always inspired me to get off book; even when he had by far the most lines a show, he was still the first cast member to be off book. Such a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed.
